Deep Cooker - Local Walnut - 14" - RH

$75.00

My Deep Cooker spoons are big enough to serve, but designed to cook. They are great for sauces, soups, stews, and much more. These spoons are “asymmetrical”, meaning I make right-handed (RH) and left-handed (LH) versions. The RH spoons have the “point” on the left side of the bowl, as that is commonly the side a right handed cook would use to get into the corner of the pot or scrape up the good stuff! The LH spoons are opposite that. Of course, choose based on your cooking style, not the title.

This particular spoon is a couple inches larger than my standard deep cooker size. In addition, it has a slightly more pointed front lip, and is shallower than standard, but still a deeper than average bowl for a cooking spoon.

All of my wood spoons are handmade in my backyard shop, materials chosen for their suitability for long lasting and safe spoons, their beauty, and often salvaged from local downed trees or from off-cuts from larger projects. Each spoon is soaked in jojoba oil, then finished with my own wood finish Spoonshine, a blend of jojoba oil and beeswax.

These spoons come in their own muslin bag with care instructions included, this is to protect them during shipping, but also works great for a gift bag, if that is your purpose.
